I hadn’t realised SoK had left. That makes me sad :(

I think it would make SoK sad that they’d been gone for more than half a year and you hadn’t noticed.

Indeed. He was one of the only people I ever played a game online with - nice bloke.

God, I hope that wasn't what encouraged him to leave :(

Come back SoK - I still haven't finished Returnal.

Anyway, I made a start on this last night. Fell asleep almost immediately. I don’t think I have midnight launches in me anymore, but playing in bed doesn’t help

... . I think the last time I stayed up for a midnight launch was Arkham Knight, back in 2015. I think I just looked at the title screen for a few minutes before feeling tired and going to bed. I wouldn't bother again!

Put about 4 hours into this today, so far the combat is Nioh, the rest is ghosts of tsushima but far less pretty. It feels like it was made before Nioh 2, which is a bit of a shame.

Gameplay is fun and exploring and levelling is done pretty well. The game throws a lot of info at the player and there are a lot of systems including multiple stances for each weapon.

Performance is fine, graphically it's poor, very bland and really lacks the bright colours of Nioh 2, also all the enemies are just randoms, I miss the monsters and spirits of Nioh 2.

Wish my image sig would work
