Great thread on one of the many reasons I actively tried to avoid all the gooseberry fool yesterday.

An excellent point, which may affect me and my Australian partner in the very near future :dread:

My partner is French. Rather than dealing with the inevitable gooseberry fool show in the UK once Brexit hits I just moved to France.

I don’t blame you. Neither of us wants to settle in Australia though, so it presents its own challenge. Hopefully she should be able to apply for permanent residency under the terms of her ancestry visa but it’s very much up in the air, and an expensive process for us.

Strangely enough, we're looking at moving to Aus sometime in the future!

Oh well. Serves us both right for not dating home grown, decent British lasses.

Not long been in after a bike ride around Windsor still busy TV stuff being taken down CNN still has they TV compound on the Brocas but outside the castle still plenty of crowds still around. The Harte & Garter hotel has windows taken out by the TV Crews what i got told last week some TV Station paid 30 grand to book the hotel out for them to film for the week. Still a good atmosphere in Windsor could feel the buzz in the air.
