Harry and Meghan letter sent to palace 'race hate crime'
A letter containing a substance sent to St James's Palace is being treated as a "racist hate crime", police said.
The Met Police tested the substance and said it was not harmful. No arrests have been made and inquiries are ongoing.
The Evening Standard reports the letter was addressed to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. It was received on February 12, the day before a package containing white powder was sent to Westminster.
It is alleged the substance sent to St James's Palace was also white powder. Officers are looking into whether or not the two packages are linked. A spokesman said: "It is being treated as a racist hate crime. The matter is being investigated by officers from the Met's Counter Terrorism Command."
Prince Harry condemned the "the outright sexism and racism of social media trolls" Ms Markle was subject to when they made their relationship public in 2016.
Will finally order my official mug from the palace shop next week, a few weeks back though i also picked up a neat little cup from a souvenir shop on Oxford St.
There's quite a few items doing the rounds now, from tea towels, to pretty much every possible piece of crockery you can imagine.
Tesco have a beautiful selection of royal wedding memorabilia, including flags, key rings, mugs and a plate (or possibly an ash tray).
Three cheers for the royal family.
Hip hip!
I still don't understand why someone can't slaughter them and take over. If that is how it used to work and how they got into this position, either the process should remain or they are relics and should no longer exist.

Word up. The sooner the royal family is killed/dethroned/exiled, the better.
While the Queen is obviously this evil, self serving, calculating old wench who likes her own way she has, very cleverly, portrayed herself as this delightful old grandmother type which has kept the Royals in good stead with the public. Charles, on the other hand, has no such image so as King he'll hopefully do these scroungers some damage. Unfortunately William is a lot more popular so we need Charles as king as long as possible.
It'll also be interesting to see how Meghan, given she isn't cut from the same cloth, deals with strict royal protocol. She could be a right pain in the ass for the Royals.
Unless she's the fame hungry gold digging failed D-list actress the Daily Mail semi-secretly think she is and it all ends in disaster, then I think Meghan will bring the Royals bang up to date and make them more relevant to the under 30s (arbitrary number) the world over than they have been in 2 decades.
