Well done Ireland. I've missed the first half of the Wales game, so will juggle that and the liverpool game for the next hour.

but 'average ireland' someone said earlier?

All the competition in the northern hemisphere has improved massively and almost caught up to the southern hemisphere now. How can you say they haven't done well. To win the tournament in this atmosphere is immense, never mind grand slam it.

What was Williams doing then...in such a tight game that's so costly :fp:

Edit: Oh it didn't go over.

So many penalties conceded in this half alone. It's embarrassing.

I wish they'd let go of the damn ball when they're down.

Edit: Well thank god for that.

What a horrible, ugly game.

Still, a win is impressive considering how we played, and second in the table, too!

The only bright spot is that England continue to be strawberry floating shite whilst pretending they're world beaters. It does warm the cockles of my cold dead heart.

Second in the table is much higher than I predicted before the tournament so can't complain about that. Nice to see England absolutely tank it.

I managed to come second on the GRcade fantasy league 8-) Unfortunately I forgot to update my team before the final round and so I had a couple of players in who weren't even in the match day squads.

Congrats to Ireland, fully deserved by all accounts.

Also congrats to me for winning the fantasy league. I should probably thank whoever bigged up Stockdale in here before the tournament as I put him in from the start instead of Keith Earls

Think this is potentially the best Irish Squad of all time. Leinster have been magnificent this season, Munster have been good, Ulster have been dreadful ( ) but Stockdale has the potential to absolutely light up the tournament. He is absolutely incredible. Averaging a try a match with Ulster which is an absolute miracle considering how we have been playing this season

I called that one right

He has been one of the bright sparks of Ulster's terrible season. The combination between himself and Piutau has been frightening on occasion but I didn't see this coming. What a player, he truly has arrived on the world stage.

In non Six Nations news, the European Rugby Federation are accused of match fixing.

The ERF, with a Romanian President, decided to appoint 3 Romanian officials to oversee a game between Spain and Belgium, where if Belgium won, Romania would gain a qualifying place for the world cup.

In 2009 I watched the Grand Slam game in a pub and dont remember much of what happened after the final whistle. This year I celebrated the Grand Slam by looking after my daughter and getting an early night. Both have been pretty strawberry floating special. :datass:
