Well that was quite something.

To be honest, the Lions played utterly stupidly for the first 65 minutes and then finally got it going. Itoje and O'Brien were the standouts for me.

Thank you Kanbei. Just read re Itoje's performance. All set for next Saturday. Might even listen on the radio - (no Sky for me!).

It's incredible that a side can give away that many penalties against the All Blacks and still win.

Yeah, it was a good job their kicker was having an off day, Vunipola was a strawberry floating liability. One man down and they still had 80%+ possession in our half with the Lions just giving away penalties for fun

39 games since the Kiwis have failed to score a try.

It might not have looked impressive, but that's quite an achievement.

We were quite lucky after shipping that many penalties but Barrett is only a 60-70% kicker so the stats were about right. Mako probably needs dropped for next week but Itoje was great, playing like he's already been on tour twice.

Seems like an anticlimax
Still, good games and a draw against the all blacks at home is a decent result

After all the predictions of 3-0 it is a great result for the Lions. But yes, massive anti-climax

Went to the pub to watch this, just got back. Decent game, with some exciting moments, but damn, dat anti-climax. :slol:

I still struggle to get behind the Lions too much - don't feel too much affinity with them - but it makes for an entertaining series and some good matches. Last week was great.

Haven't been even able to follow this tour but I do enjoy the Lions. Just watched the highlights though and that penalty reversal at the end :slol:

Not sure I like the sound of this, or quite how it's supposed to work.

It's a better idea than how the English Prem works.
