Tremendous game today between Scotland and France, the latter are truly living up to their reputation. Should have had two wins, instead they've got two losses! :fp:

Check out my YouTube channel!
One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

Scrum V has the definitive on trygate. Verdict: clear knock-on. Thank goodness, I was beginning to think my eyes were faulty!

Typical arrogant English fan.

The general consensus with pundits was it should have been given. Worth saying we scored a penalty instead though so it’s only a +4 or more probably a +2 with the way we were kicking.

On the flip side, Wales got the rub of the green with ref decisions in the breakdown area and overall England were deserved winners I thought.

The kick on their first try was pure class too.

It was NOT a try. Watch the BBC replay - on their website - and it is clear that the ball was knocked on in the air. The TMO was actually spot on. There was no grounding.

You mean the TMO who said it came off his knee, and so wasn't a knock on? ;)

Must have been because we were closer to cardiff. Id happily go there again.

I can't believe the tackle on that Welsh guy to drag him out by the corner, strawberry floating heroic stuff. Wales had 4 men running that ball in and you'd have bet your house on them getting it and that guy just came out of nowhere and took him out.

Not a very convincing performance by either side though, England will have to step up if they want to beat the Irish to the title as they look far stronger at this point.

Really glad you had a better experience. I know there was very rarely any animosity towards English fans when I was living in Cardiff, and what you've talked about before had always sounded embarrassing for Welsh fans who aren't pricks.

Underhill's tackle was astounding work. Must be that time spent playing for the Ospreys paying off.

Scotland France has probably been game of the tournament for me so far. Tense to the end, and Scotland are back on it after a shitshow last week.

I'm worried about Wales against Ireland in two weeks. We'll need to be way more clinical and actually make some points off our chances to pull a win out, there.

You misunderstand. Of course the ball came off his knee - and indeed finger, (backwards), if you’ve seen the latest close-ups - so you’re smiley is entirely irrelevant I’m afraid. (Or did you deliberately mis-understand - in which case strawberry float off.) The point of knock-on was in the attempt to ground the ball. Watch Scrum5 - although it was obvious to anyone with eyes beforehand - and all will be clear. You weren’t robbed: it wasn’t a try, pure and simple. (But whine on all you want to - “sarcastic smiley face”.)

See, I don't get that. Genuinely still think there was a pretty clear knock on when you watch it in slow motion, what's the point in saying the ground was OK when you watch it back if the grounding is irrelevant because of a knock on? Gets the grounding decision wrong, misses the knock on. Cancel each other out, no try.

Really disappointed with the result against Ireland, although they were definitely the better team throughout, and we were lucky to be that close in the last 5 minutes. Classic Wales, really, only bothering to turn up for the last 15 when they've given themselves an even bigger hill to climb.

Loving this Scotland England game though. :D

Owen Farrell starting a fight in the tunnel before kick off.

Ireland totally deserved to win today, sloppy mistakes nearly let wales in but good god it’s great to beat Wales. Bunch of cocky knobs. :slol:
