Can't believe ITV have chucked Fiji v Portugal onto ITV4 in favour of strawberry floating Big Brother on ITV1. Portugal set to put Australia through to the quarters right now!

Best result, Portugal win, and Fiji qualify. Massive congrats to Portugal, they really deserved a win somewhere out of this tournament. They've played brilliantly.

Good grief. Stopped watching at 23:17 thinking it was in the bag for Fiji and fearing impending divorce if I watched anymore!

Got to say, all four QFs look like they could be crackers. I will be shouting for NH teams throughout so good luck Wales, Ireland, England and France.

Fantastic end to the pool games, now the rubber really meets the road and we see what this Irish team is really made of. This is gonna be a long week of nervous waiting, still happier to be facing NZ that France at home in a QF but its going to be a nerve wracking thing to wait around for.

When I saw Portugal v Wales I thought that Fiji v Portugal could be a great game. Inevitably I missed the majority of it but caught the last 10 mins, but it sounded like it was fantastic throughout! Almost feel sorry for any Australians who woke up early Monday morning hoping that they might make it through

I'm at a wedding next Saturday so will likely mis both the Wales and Ireland QFs :fp:

Watched the last 10 minutes the other night. Amazing! The expressions of exhilaration on the Portuguese players staff and supporter's faces was a joy to see! Sport at its very best really.

I don't think I've ever celebrated a conversion not taken by a Welsh player as much as I did for that Portuguese one. I was so nervous for the lad :slol:

Did they put those numbers on the shirts with Pritt sticks?

Can't believe Wales MVP from the last WC QF has gone off injured. :(

This has been tasty, a great one for the neutrals.

Don't get how that massive shoulder hit to the head wasn't a yellow for Argentina.

Check out my YouTube channel!
One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

Wrong again then, although not as surprised this time! Hope I have not got it wrong for England vs Fiji tomorrow!! Thought Ireland were a bit naive at times - for me, points every time… Epic match though. Really hope tomorrow’s double bill lives up to today’s. Rugby, what a brilliant sport!
