How many intercepted passes is that from Wales now?
5? In one half, that's pretty incredible.

Can someone explain that yellow card please? I don't get why blocking the ball is bad yet alone a card offence

It was a very harsh card, because realistically he couldn't get away, but the ball was unplayable because Sexton didn't release and roll away after the tackle. Killing the ball like that is always a penalty, but doing it on the try line is the reason for the card.

I'll be surprised if both sides can keep up the pace of the first half.
Great game so far, though.

Shocker for Ireland, but to be fair we did play absolutely atrociously. That last try.
Outplayed all match and Wales really were the better side playing far more aggressive, compelling rugby.

Well done Wales. Thoroughly deserved victory. Ireland were awful for the most part, just couldn't break down the Wales defence. And being practically on the Wales line in a maul with 10 minutes to go and we give away a stupid strawberry floating penalty.
I'd say Sexton cost us 17 of those 22 points with his fuckery. Some of those cross-field kicks were
Now, I wish he had stayed off when he got injured early on. Line-out was appalling, too.
Those few minutes before the Wales try where Ireland kept playing it sideways along their own 10 metre line going nowhere, that was one of the worst things I've ever seen from Ireland. I was actually screaming at the tv for them to do something else.

Yes!
The only downside is people now looking at Rob Howley as though he might actually be competent.
300+ tackles.

Dallaglio: "Well, there's nothing wrong with the tackle."
Just as the replay shows Daly getting dumped on his neck.
