Why the strawberry float did that take so long? It was obvious from the first replay that it wasn't a high tackle, just late.

The referee seemed to be talking about a high tackle prior to the late one, but it was never replayed if there was one. Really odd exchange, especially as he was about to give the card until the TMO stepped in to correct him.

Now to go for a grand slam and a world record

Great result, was worried about that one.
So that's the championship in the bag then, only downside will be next week. I suspect Ireland to percentage-rugby bore us to death, which for the other four nations will obviously be treated as the REAL win. Ho hum.

Anything that stops English fans from being able to spend the next decade or more gloating about two consecutive grand slams.

Embrace the hate
Great performance today, another title clinched before the final game.
Great to 'put them to the cleaners' as Eddie said after the Wales game. Bring on Ireland.

Just re-watched the game...superb performance. Some of Haskell's work especially in the first half was immense. Jones has really performed rugby alchemy with him in particular.
Whilst concerning to see those 3 incredibly soft tries conceded it was telling that literally within a play of Scotland scoring England went and scored one in reply. It seems for aeons that English national rugby has been defence centric, which has worked well to a point, but Jones really seems to have backed England to perform under 'we will just score more points than you' game plan. I think there is a way to go until England are entirely comfortable with that mindset but I do think it is the way forward for them with this crop of players. It has served the All Blacks well and as Jone's repeatedly indicates that is the performance levels and results that he expects. Regardless of all this it is pretty exciting times as an England rugby fan...dynamic and varied with the results to match.

Well I that's fair I suppose, 30-3 was 4 years ago and I don't think the Welsh are going to shut up about it for at least another dozen.

Like the rugby is the reason for that.
Two giant bits of non-international news this week. Racing 92 and Stade Francais to merge in the top 14, and Super Gav is returning to Wales to play with the Dragons.
Also, no more Friday night 6N games in Cardiff for at least two years, after 6 or the 7 that have been played have been hosted there. Time for somewhere else to pick up the slack.
