Certainly not the performance I was expecting. Been an amazing game.

The linesmen have been terrible, though. One of New Zealand's tries shouldn't have been.

Eddie Butler cracks me up "NZ have had a scare here". Was a challenge but not a scare,

Did you watch the game? We held the best team in the world scoreless for over 30 minutes in the second half and were *this* close to going into half time in the lead. We have nothing to be ashamed of, we put in an incredibly brave performance against an amazing team. It could have been very different if New Zealand didn't score those crucial tries at the end of either half.

I did watch it. Ireland weren't bad at all but he did make me chuckle with that comment Good old Eddie..

They just area class up right now.

Irelands defence did ask questions and you'd have to wonder what pressure could be put on NS when under world cup pressure but they showed an ability to step it up almost with ease when they needed to.

Nothing to ashamed of at all. Blimey no. My wording was wrong, apologies. It's just NZ are so bloody good they do seem to cruise when they hit their straps.

So fixtures this weekend,

Saturday, 27 November 2010
England v South Africa, 14:30
France v Australia, 19:45
Italy v Fiji, 14:00
Scotland v Samoa, 14:30
Wales v New Zealand, 17:15

Sunday, 28 November 2010
Ireland v Argentina, 14:30

I've got tickets to the Wales-New Zealand game, been looking forward to this for weeks now! I've been dreaming of a massive upset tonight and it would be amazing if it happened but realistically we will probably struggle to do as well as Ireland last week, the All Blacks always seem to be able to up the tempo for 10 minutes and pile on the points, I just hope we at least perform as well as we did in the 2nd New Zealand test this summer, and hopefully nothing like last week.

In the other fixtures, I probably expect all the other home nations to win their games. England and S.Africa should be interesting to see if the Boks will improve after quite a poor standard of performances so far, they could have easily lost to Wales and Ireland as well as Scotland. Also to see if England can match their performance from the Australia game. Should be a good weekend of rugby anyway!

I'm actually really impressed with this Welsh display so far. Granted they've made some bad errors, failed to make the most of opportunities, and their passing is pretty sloppy, but they've not let the All Blacks overwhelm them, and keeping them back in their own half, after last week's display, is not what I was expecting to see.

Here's hoping for a second half to build on this.

Scotland struggled with a stubborn and angry Samoa, but came through in the end. Fair play to the Islanders though, they gave their all.

England come back down to Earth. Not surprising, but they didn't do too badly today and SA were very good so they won't be too disappointed.

Wales were never going to beat NZ, but they gave a good account of themselves.

I quite fancy Argentina to win tomorrow. In fact, I hope they do.

Ireland up 16-3 with 34mins gone. Some good adventuring play going on in the backs, and we've got the Pumas in the loose.

So overall looks like a few steps forward and a few steps back for most NH nations this Autumn.
