I like seeing Delon back in there. Some natural running talent in that back three. Seriously good back three actually.

England: Ben Foden, Chris Ashton, Manu Tuilagi, Mike Tindall (captain), Delon Armitage, Jonny Wilkinson, Richard Wigglesworth, Andrew Sheridan, Steve Thompson, Dan Cole, Louis Deacon, Courtney Lawes, Tom Croft, James Haskell, Nick Easter.

Replacements: Dylan Hartley, Matt Stevens, Tom Palmer, Tom Wood, Ben Youngs, Toby Flood, Matt Banahan.

^England team announced for Saturday against Argentina. Not bad overall I think.

Despite my fears that's not a bad team. Interesting to see that Armitage is playing as well as Foden so plenty of flair in the back line.
Not sure about Wigglesworth ahead of youngs.... is Johnson saying that he doesn't think Youngs will cope with the pressure or do you think he might bring him on later to inject some pace as the Argentinians tire?

Whatever, just so bloody excited that it's finally here!! :D

Reckon Youngs will start as soon as he has proved his fitness. Just watched an hours preview on itv4 though and you have to say that the only team that can beat NZ for the cup is.... NZ themselves ! (Watch this space :shifty: )

Got a bad feeling about Saturday. I honestly think we could get shocked by Argentina and I'm also concerned that even if we win we are going to have a few injuries. Everything being equal we should be playing France in the QF and then hopefully advancing to the SF but I've just got a funny feeling that things are going to go tits up.

After seeing Argentina at the Millenium Stadium, I honestly can't see England stumbling against them to be honest.

Yep, on a form line I can't see us failing to get to the Semi Final but you never can tell. I'm not basing my worries on form but purely on a feeling that things are not going to go as planned.

Here we go! :D Its only taken 4 years to come, but here it is at last! I'm desperate for us to keep up our record of always reaching the quarter finals, I don't care if that comes at England's or Argentina's expense. Andy Robinson has done well for us and we should repay his efforts with a good run in this tournament.

Also, a painful memory of the 2007 World Cup; When Sean Lamont decided to cross kick the ball towards Dan Parks, the smallest man on the pitch, who was surrounded by 3 Argentinians, in the last minute of the Quarter Final. I took the anger out on the storage-heater next to me with my fist, breaking the grill part on the top, and hurting the strawberry float out of me too.

My 3G dongle reception is awful at work so the chance of watching this on ITV player is nil. Anyone know if there is a radio commentary I can get?

I think it will be a tough match that's for sure - I really wouldn't write off the Argies, they'll throw everything t us but the kitchen sink and, on song, could well cause an upset - hopefully not though!

And so to work..... - I wasn't that bothered re missing this morning's opener up until now. But now I'm really jealous of all those with the day off - enjoy the match you lucky so and sos !!

Dunedin, what a boring place that is :fp:

When I went there I was told it was a student place with a busy nightlife... I struggled to find an open pub on a Friday night
