Rumor: New Xbox 360 title on the way from Konami

According to a list of 2009 projects from Gem Impact, the audio production studio founded by Metal Gear Solid composer Norihiko Hibino, Konami has a new Xbox 360 title in the works. First of all, no, we're not going to say it. We'll just say that the title could be anything. It's also worth noting, as does Gamezine, that the same page lists Bayonetta as a PS3-only title, which isn't the case. Thus, the Konami listing could easily be a multiplatform title -- the new Castlevania title revealed last year, perhaps.

Also worth pointing out, the list notes an upcoming PS3 title from Fatal Frame IV and No More Heroes developer Grasshopper Manufacture. This might be the upcoming horror project with EA that was announced last year -- for Xbox 360 and Wii as well, incidentally -- or it might be something completely different.

MGS4.

Same article references him working on a PS3 exclusive from Grasshopper.

I'm pretty sure it would go platinum if released on 360 as well.

I actually enjoyed the N64 Castlevania game. A lot.

For some reason I thought MGS3 had been released on xbox. Apparently not.

Did they not say there would be hassle getting it all onto DVD? (MGS4).

I would play it on 2 DVDs but I think it was over-reaction from MGS4 fans thinking it might end up on 360 at some point, hence the 10 DVD images that appear as soon as the rumor is mentioned.

MGS4 on 360? I would like to say yes because I think it could be a cool addition to the 360 library and I think the MGO stuff might find a bigger fan-base on the 360 but MGS4 on 360 is just pure speculation at present.

Maybe just MGO will be a XBLA title?
