You know what? That actually sounds plausible. Sony saw the original had potential and got some exclusive(awesome) DLC to it. As well as the marketing being for the PS3 version.

Yeah but there is DC Universe Online for PS3 coming soon too. Warner own DC. Sony are making this game. The reality is that the two could come together with some cross game content to generate sales of both titles. If Warner can get some marketing off the back of another game then they would be fools not to. The game would no way be nailed down exclusive. But timed? for like six months? Sure. For me and what I see/hear it's the only game that would make sense for Sony to shout about at E3.

Think about the you scratch our back we'll scratch yours involved as Warner will want DC Universe to sell well as well seeing Batman 2 sell well.

Makes sense. they'd getsome 360 sales later but get a boost here. Don't think it's a system seller but could work well for them as a cross promotion.

Exactly. If I were running either Warner or Sony I'd try to get that deal done. Sony need exposure for a brave attempt at a console MMO and it's in Warner's best interest to see that game sell well. The DC license is their brand after all. If it bombs it looks bad on them.

and MS may not care to intervene as it doesn't hurt them that much.

Won't be Bayonetta. 360 version was the one that sold the most. I can't see Activision making any COD exclusive, they won't ignore the 360 userbase and the marketplace content they can sell. Don't think it will be Batman Arkham Asylum. Can't see Warner bros letting that happen. Weren't they the last major company to release films on Blu Ray and HD-DVD? Before HD-DVD died.
