Each equipped ring will grant its bonus.

Why does one ring have a darker watermark than the other?

Because you're on that particular ring's equipment slot.

Press X on one of the rings on the equipment page. Now press L1 or R1 to cycle through the equipped rings. Do you see? :P

Kalameet was probably the hardest boss in the series in my opinion. Proper banana split.

So, I've just been to Rosaria's bed chamber and i travel back to fire link to be met by a mysterious wanderer who tells me the next time we meet, shell pretty much murder me

Also, I havent yet met patches, the guide says either he's at the cathedral, or after you've been across the rafters (which i have) Im worried I'm missing loads of stuff as there seem to be loads of NPC's and I've only met a few :( Its not for the want of hunting around either.

Fabian Delph is a banana split.

I haven't played any of the DS2 or BB DOC so I still think the hardest boss in the series is Kalameet. He's not as relentlessly aggressive as Manus but he hits like a flipping truck. Honourable mention goes to Ancient Dragon from DS2, if you could get him to do what you wanted he wasn't too bad but if he broke his usual pattern you were screwed.

I was lucky enough to spot him first time thanks to a helpful message.

You can see him firing too. I think you can see him from the cathedral as well.

I spent so long in my second run at Vordt's bonfire just looking over the edge and mapping out all the routes you take.

Speaking of, my Plat run has made it past the Dungeons. Still hate everything about the jailers. Sapping health from long range, increasing equip burden, a high damage tracking grab (which coupled with the health sap is death).

I'll beat Yhorm tonight then wrap up getting the last of the covenant stuff I can grind for before heading to the castle. Other than that I've gotten everything I need up to here apart from one gesture which I decided to leave because I needed a conflicting ring.

Everything looks good.

Why would you think that?

Doesn't it warp you to the next area automatically? Pretty sure it did for me.

Depends on the order you fight the bosses. Since it hasn't warped you I'll assume you need to go to the lake in Irithyll where you turned into the sewers full of insect ladies.

Instead of turning left there if you go straight ahead there's a stone archway and a path leading down.
