What level are you? There's usually a significant number around 80-100.

Does beating the last boss end the game or what?

I've done everything else and am just prepping for ng+ now but actually I might not start a new play through and instead keep this guy at end game incase new dlc comes out.

Did you guys roll a new character or ng+ it?

Also is there anything I should do before finishing?

When you beat the last boss you get a window asking if you want to start NG+ now or later.

I kept my first in NG cycle and started a second to go for NG+ and NG++

As for a checklist basically the optional areas Archdragon Peak and Untended Graves as well as getting all 7 (?) Titanite Slabs if you want them. Also the armour sets from the maiden as they get reset on NG+.

The Dancer is probably the toughest boss that I've faced in the game. I actually told myself that I would stop playing after this attempt as it was getting pretty hot in my room but I managed to beat it :toot:

Been playing the dlc tonight and it feels as though I'm almost done. The boss I'm fighting seems extremely final bossy. But at the same time it feels as though I'm only about half way through. If this IS the final boss of the dlc it's a pretty short one. It also doesn't really seem to know what it wants to do with itself, which is why I'd want a bit more time from it.

The enemy designs are fantastic, though, the new weapons are great, and the bosses I've thought so far have been top notch. My only potential gripe is the scope of it, but I'll come back when I'm actually done with it.

Completed the first bit of DLC yesterday. I've seen a lot of people saying it was disappointing but I really enjoyed it. It's only around three or four hours long with two bosses (one optional) but I loved the snowy setting and some of the locations get a bit Bloodborne-y later on.

Got this just after Christmas in the Steam sale and have now put probably a good 5-10 hours into it. Can't say I'm getting the fuss really.

Everything seems very clunky, unrefined and unresponsive. I don't feel like I'm getting any better at playing the game, and it seems the game offers no encouragement or assistance in order to get better at it.

I'm going to persevere a while longer as I'm still hoping something will click, but so far I'm pretty disappointed.

Sounds like it's your first Souls game?

Yep, not played any of them before but always wanted to give the series a shot.

I'm still soldiering on, got a bit further this evening but it still doesn't feel like I'm playing anything special at the moment.
