You still haven't put 2016 in the topic title SoK!

Hurry up, you must do this now!

Awful name for a game though, isn't it? I mean 'Zero Dawn'...really? Didn't like the font it was written in either. And she's ginger.
There we go, normality restored.

The name proper doesn't get you going either, tbh. Horizon.

It's better than Rise of the Tomb Raider, still can't believe that name! :fp:

Should have just called this Horizon.

Yeah, the name sounds like it was cherry picked from a pile of unused Killzone subtitles.

This looks really promising; I really like the idea of mixing stealth with monster hunting. It's a shame that it's another 2016 title but hopefully it's given enough time to be something great.

This is from the guys who did Killzone. All fancy, but actually shallow gameplay.

I'm hoping they buck that trend with this, as this looks absolutely great and fun to play.

If it sticks to the 2016, then that year will be actually insane for games.

It may still be hella shallow, but...

Gonzalez's LinkedIn page confirms he made the move in September, leaving behind his lead designer role at WB Games where he was working on an unannounced project. Prior to that he spent more than two years with Obsidian Entertainment, and he's also worked with Ubisoft Entertainment in Shanghai on Tom Clancy's EndWar.

In his profile he says his "focus is storytelling for open-world role-playing games. Because they are awesome," which could hint at the future Guerrilla is planning for the Killzone franchise.

This is a great move for the studio because an RPG needs a skilful story teller working on it and New Vegas has been widely lauded for it's writing.

EDIT: I'd love it if that concept artwork was from the game.

Bodes well, eh.

There's a also rumour from a Dutch site saying this game will be at Sony's presser on Monday/Tuesday: http://www.gamekings.tv/videos/evdwv-e3-editie/

I like the look of it but the release date does mean that there's still no point in me getting a PS4 for the next 12 months

This was perhaps my favourite game of the conference yesterday, looks amazing. Love the setting and the lore. If it's anything like The Witcher 3 in a vastly different setting I'll be happy.

I don't know how any of us are supposed to know when the release date is, unless it's put in the title of the thread.

It looks gorgeous doesn't it.

It's between this and Uncharted 4 for best looking game of the show. The care and attention some of Sony's studios are putting into graphics is astounding!

I didn't realise the machines can communicate i.e. long-necks have radar capabilities. Those smaller machines can call in tougher foe.

Sounding really good. With the different types of machines maybe there will be a gracious set of strategies depending on the situation.
