Selling this on today as I've finished all I care to finish and I'm reminded of something I hate about gaming... how quickly games decrease in value. This would net you £32 cash or £36 in store at CeX yesterday but today it's down to £29 cash or £33 in store.

I need to get my payment issues with Boomerang sorted.

Late last night I was able to start my rental copy. I am playing on PS4 Pro with the Favour Resolution setting as frame rate is meant to be pretty stable. I played the prologue and just started the game proper. First things first it is how lovely it looks! Great scenery, lighting, blowing grass. Facial animations are detailed and expressive. Also, young Aloy is really well voiced, and there's a part how where she kind of skips whilst walking that is so real it has to have been motion captured. Good stuff!

Was an update this morning and one of the fixes was enabling you to buy multiple items from merchants now by holding down X.

Nearly finished this now. I spent yesterday clearing all the bandit camps, tallnecks and hunting grounds trials.

I don't often buy dlc as once I've cleared the main game thats usually enough for me but with this I will make an acception.

In my defence I knew it was incorrect I just couldn't be arsed editing the post...

I am now finishing up the main story. I could possibly platinum this game but I cannot be bothered to go and get all the collectables. Who's idea was it to flood RPG's with meaningless 'go fetch' collectables?

How many save files does this game want to store?! I've got save files (of the quick, manual, and auto variety) on my PS4 and in the cloud! Well over 100 MB (x2) when I checked just now.

I've gone back to playing NierA. Enjoyed what little I played of this, but I want to complete it as my main game; don't like the idea of playing it, putting it aside for Persona 5, and then picking it up again. Possibly *after* finishing NierA. So I've decided to get NierA out of the way, then onto P5, and then HZD will get my fullest attention.

*golf clap* at GG's decision to not include a lock-on. Makes the combat far more interesting, and the aim assist makes up for it anyway. (So much so that I think I'll be switching it off when I come back to this.)

I think my biggest gripe with this (other than some of the names and swears :slol:) is how bright the night is. I don't think all games should have pitch black nights, but HZD could do with taking its brightness at night down a few levels.

Yeah it is. If you go to the East of the Meridian, there is stunning forest with a small lake and it looks incredible!

I am waiting for the next model of 4K TV to release so I can buy one soon! :x

Just trying to do that mission with the Glinthawks at Pitchcliffe.

Anyone got any strategies for the Stormbird section? :dread:

I'm literally just hiding in the workshop picking at it with Tearblast arrows! It's basically the same strategy I used for the fight in the quarry :shifty:
