I'm really enjoying this so far. It's fun just creeping through the long grass and and picking off the enemies stealthily. I've finished one side quest where I had to find some blokes daughter and his spear and was in the middle of gathering supplies for an old lady when I heard somebody crying out for their brother so naturally I investigated, seems like an interesting quest too.

This really is fantastic, the graphics actually look better than the footage I've seen and the combat is varied, fluid and excellent fun.

I had an amazing battle with 4 of the crocodile things after I swam to an island which involved ropes, bombs and a lot of rolling around. Intense as strawberry float :datass:

There's a hell of a lot of detailed foliege in this which just ends up looking blurred out in videos.

It looks amazing on a regular PS4, I'd love to see a side by side comparison against the Pro... although with my history for impulse buys that's probably not a good idea.

Been back and forth to the same area a few times to kill the respawning beasts. Just climb up on one of those handy wooden platforms and kill them all as they don't have a clue where I am.

I think I'm going to end up spending half of my playtime in photo mode. This is literally the perfect game for it.

Any tips for modifications ?

I've noticed a skill I can learn so I won't lose mods used.

Spent 4 hours straight in this tonight. It's very enjoyable so far. I've. Completed a quest which opens up the world and now I'm unlocking quests and I'm planning on maxing out all storage and opening up the world map.

Already maxed out resource storage and it makes a big difference.

I loved the first boss fight and I'm really liking the stealth gameplay which feels just right. Also the hunting is brilliant, I enjoy shooting the foxes and the random rare drops the game brings.

Animation during cut scenes feels next gen and the quests while not Witcher 3 deep are still more than fetch quests.

So far so good. I'm off on Monday and Tuesday so an extended weekend of gameplay should get me through the main quest.

Wish my image sig would work

So I've now unlocked 3 towers and 2 or 3 bandit camps. Still trying to max out all capacity to make things more enjoyable and easier.

I've gone up against a few big things and won but only just. I've seen but not scanned a huge t rex thing. Managed to scan a huge bird thing too.

I love the locations and the different terrians of the world. The weather effects are impressive too.

I still need to get my head around the combat and as it feels harder than it should right now. Might return to the main quest tomorrow after a lot more wandering.

Wish my image sig would work
