Just did my first Cauldron so much fun :)

Really like how if you plan fights, then when you defeat what your fighting is so much more rewarding !

Does anyone know what the +tear stat is ?

I've modded some gear for now and once I unlock tinker o can remove mods without them being destroyed.

When a weapon uses tear ammo its used for knocking off components and armour making it easier then to use regular bow ammo to finish them off. No point adding a +tear stat mod to a weapon that doesn't use tear ammo to begin with.

I see this game taking me a good while to beat as I keep trying to progress the story but something always pops up to distract either a side quest crops up or there's a metal flower and such like to be found. Plus when just wandering about hunting the assorted wildlife machine or otherwise is so enjoyable I can easily spend ages doing not much of anything really.

Finished a cauldron and about to do another. I did a level 24 quest while level 20. Managed to kill a huge thing by hiding behind a hut and taking shots from a distance.

Loving every second of this, it's just so good. Will take me ages as I keep finding more stuff to do.

Wish my image sig would work

Combat is really done well and I think is part of the reason I'm loving the game so much.

Before this I was burnt out on open world games but this isn't a chore to play.

I can definitely see me 100% completing this.

Second cauldron completed. Also making my way through the storage upgrades.

Really enjoying this and can't wait to get back into it tomorrow.

The digital deluxe version is crap through. The £10 extra brings nothing of any real benefit as better stuff is easily found and bought.

Favorite creature so far is the snap maw crocodile, I took one over so was super close up. The design and work put into the creature is amazing. Would love some figures released one day.

What's everyones load out?

I'm trying the sling shot now and enjoying it. The trip wires are so useful for amazing set ups.

Playing this right after Zelda doesn't help the first couple of hours whatsoever. I heard the opening is a bit weak though so will keep going. Pretty sure it's about to all open up

Just checked my playtime so far and I'm on 15 hours 30 minutes exactly. Not bothered much with the main quest, been doing all the side quests but I now need to progress more to unlock more as I've just done another bandit camp and that was the last remaining side quest I had available.

At level 23 now too.

All four cauldrons done. Brilliant experience every one of them.

I've got a new bow which fires tear arrows. Using some mods I can do over 200 tear damage a shot. I am now stripping off all armour and add ons from enemies and then finishing them off.

Taking on the t rex is so cool. I finished him with his own gun too. Which made it even better.

Now I'mm trying to unlock the only type of bow I don't have so I can freeze enemies with arrows too.

I think 3 is the most, shadow are the best weapons/final weapons.

However

Apparently if you complete the hunters lodge quests you get gold weapons. Not done it myself though.
