games gud

How do you find Power Cells?
Obviously use spoilers. I found my first 2 by
revisiting the place you find as a young girl
, and I found the place that you use them, but I'm level 42 now and have found no similar places to explore and potentially find them.
Pain in the arse as I've held off buying an upgraded (you know what) as I'm sure the thing you get for using them is going to be the nuts.

The ones you haven't found are all in ruins you visit throughout the main story, you just have to explore a little.

I'd just use a guide to outright tell you the places to look. They're not hidden away in some location type you've not seen or anything.

The reward is indeed OP as strawberry float. You can take down a Thunderjaw 1v1 with it without ever taking damage.

Ah. Not done much main story since Meridian. That'll explain it. Cheers.

Does anybody know where I can sell ancient vessels for valuable rewards? I tried to find at Meridian but no such luck yet. :?

There is a specific merchant for each type of collectable in Meridian. One for Banuk figures, one for vessels and one for metal flowers. You need a full set before you can trade them in for owt though.

Just check your map as they are all marked on it.

:toot: :slol: I cheaped it. (It was just a matter of keeping the nearby bonfire hovel between me and the Thunderjaw. Still a fun fight, though. Its weaponry, in terms of variety and destructive power, is totally ridiculous.)

Cheers. I didn't realise there is a full set before you can trade. :fp:

I'm currently 33% into it and it's fantastic. The 4K UHD and HDR looks truly amazing!

That soldier guy you meet before the Proving, is his sister really dead? I'm currently doing the whole CSI: Zero Dawn bit (taking a break right now) but want to know before I carry on with it. The crime scene clues, and what soldier guy said about her face being heavily disfigured, leads me to believe shenanigans have gone on to make it look like she was killed. Am I right?
Only reason I'm not searching for this via Google is I don't want anything else being spoiled.

All cauldrons done.Final one was a little disappointing as I was totally expecting to have to put up with the T-Jaw *and* a couple of Stalkers. It wouldn't have been that much more difficult, but the Jaw on its own was just too much of a pushover.

How do you find more cauldrons? I've literally only seen one and I'm pretty far into the story.

They're represented by the blue triangle symbol on the map. (Override Tallnecks to reveal Cauldron locations if your map is covered by the fog of war.)

The best 2 moments in HZD.

Don't watch if you haven't yet completed the Hunters Lodge missions.

A friend at work has been talking about some sort of robot Kong DLC for this, but I haven't been able to find any sources myself. Anyone else heard said rumours, or is it just bullshit?

Not the most flowing of rucks, but was still cool to see and it definitely had its moments. There was even a comeback.

Met/overrode my first Behemoth this morning :toot:  It obliterated a Longleg *and* a Glinthawk. (LL got one shotted.) Gonna try and draw one to a Thunderjaw. (And no doubt get obliterated in the process myself.)

Off the top of my head...

Pretty sure the game doesn't explain this *at all* but you can make health/other potions via crafting menu almost from the get go. (Click touch pad > L1 > Scroll down to traps and potions.)
Craft improved satchels for resources, weapons, and outfits early on. Ditto ammo satchels, but especially the resources one. Just give crafting menu a good going over in general to see what it is you can craft.

You can fast travel to any discovered camp site if you have a travel pack in your resources satchel. Though you can carry many they are a one-time use item. But once you get to Meridian, you'll be able to buy the Golden Fast Travel Pack which offers infinite fast travel uses, whilst only taking up one slot in your resources satchel. (Bought via the trader for x50 Metal Shards, x1 Fox Skin, and x10 Fatty Meat.)

Don't waste shards on blue level gear, or buying every available weapon right away. Best gear is available in Meridian.
Stick with the hunter and sharpshot bows, and the sling early on in the game.

Put points into Silent Strike (Prowler tree) and Lure Call (Forager) asap. This will allow you to easily dispatch enemies early on.

Apologies for quoting myself. I've done more research and I can't find anything confirming his rumours. It's strange he's not the sort to make things up, I mean, his dad's James Bond, so I thought he was pretty credible.
