Time to Kick Some Demon Ass

Years have passed since the events of Devil May Cry 4, and a lot has happened. Young demon hunter Nero has lost his Devil Bringer demon arm… but hey! He’s now heading his own branch of the demon-hunting business Devil May Cry. To make up for that lost arm, and keep his style rankings up, he’s enlisted the help of expert craftswoman Nico, a brand new character in the series, to lend a hand and build different types of prosthetic arms that unlock new badass combat abilities and devastating powers.

New Heights in Visual Fidelity

More details on characters and specific gameplay moves are still forthcoming—can Nero still MAX-Act rev the Red Queen?!—but rest assured the complete package will be delivered to you in true Devil May Cry form at a silky-smooth 60 frames-per-second and stunning visual fidelity, thanks to the power of our proprietary RE Engine.

Would be amazing if they announced this and still said absolutely bugger all on Resident Evil 2.

Just realised it's been 10 years since the last mainline Devil May Cry came out

DMC 3 all the way.

Bought the last DMC in the Steam sale. Didn't think of much of it.

The Ninja Theory prequel or Devil May Cry 4?

This is being developed by the original team and is a direct sequel to Devil May Cry 4.

I thought DMC 3 was the prequel with a much younger Dante? Wasn't the last DMC (not 4) a simple re-imagining of DMC? Oh I don't know. Whatever the case I didn't like what they did with it. Just didn't "feel" right.

Ninja Theory DMC is given way too much gooseberry fool online. It's brilliant.

DMC was bliss. With the current climate of action games, I'm curious to see how DMC5 will try to stand out.

I really liked DmC although I've barely touched the other games.

Guess I'd better get started on 3 on the HD collection then!

And err maybe DmC too

Yes this looks cool. Interesting direction, and I'm weirdly glad they've decided to stick with Nero as the central character. Dante might have been a safer choice. And I'm glad they're continuing the original storyline and not the DmC reboot.

Apparently it's an Xbone exclusive though so it'll be a while till I get around to playing it.

I voted for DMC 3 in the poll. Played the HD Collection version (which is also the special edition) and liked it a lot. Very solid action game with the best story/characters and character development in the series.

DMC 3 > 4 > 1 > DmC > 2

Edit: Fixed sentence. Also hopefully this doesn't take too long to get to PC.

4 was an abysmall game.

The gameplay was solid, but the actual progression and levels were really really bad.

Nero as the main character again? :|

and +1 for enjoying DmC. The weird fanboy backlash that game got was undeserved.

Only ever played DMC reboot and I really enjoyed it, bar the different Dante it was a great game.

Nice too see all the current gen ports of the DMC games have paid for this new entry, its looking good.
