Don't understand why you'd only make that for one console. It's a license to print money so why not put it on everything and the PC?

Wikipedia is saying FF7 came out in 1997. Why would you announce this so far in advance of the anniversary?

Wouldn't be surprised if Sony are part funding it if it does turn out to be true.

Interesting. Siliconera must be pretty sure to post this. If it is a full remake with more gameplay then I think it quite possible to come out on other platforms. Possible megaton reveal tonight spoilt. I wish I never read this!

Advent Children Cloud looked shite. They should stick to the original art style.

After the reaction they got to last year's announcement., maybe it's pushed them into finally remaking it.

They're going to do something. The creator said "The compilation of final fantasy 7 would end on the game's 20th anniversary"
(Compilation is Dirge of Cerberus, Crisis Core, Advent Children etc) So they're either going to do a game set in the same world, or a remake.

You'd hope they'd have learned what people want after last year. And that shitty port still isn't out, so maybe they reconsidered and put a bit more effort in?

It's never a guarantee. Sometimes it is and sometimes it's CBOAT.
Personally I'll believe it when I see it. And by "see it" I obviously mean witnessed Square epically trolling everyone on stage again.
