But the brilliant thing is that Sony have stepped in again and fought for all of their valued customers and real gamers who bought the Vita. :roll:

Sour grapes mate - forgotten all of those superior multiplatform ports and exclusive dlc then? Most of the exclusives that have been released on both platforms have been average anyway, apart from bloodborne and a few indie titles.

If I was honest I wasn't going to get it but now I have a proper remake to look forward to i'll probably end up getting it.

I just hope they don't deviate from the original story too much, I wanna see that train entrance with 8th gen graphics.

I'll wait until I play FF XV before deciding whether I want the original battle system, hate with a passion turn based battles.

It wouldnt bother me if they kept turn based so long as they got rid of random battles every 2 steps

They confirmed the remake was being worked on when they announced the HD remaster. So yeah, it really was Square trolling everyone.

I had forgotten Persona 5, admittedly - but then, that's also on PS3. Given the series style, I'm not sure that there'll be much difference between the two versions.
