Have they actually shown any battle royale mode gameplay yet?

Grand Operations is the ultimate multiplayer experience, designed to seamlessly showcase the maps and modes of Battlefield™ V. Each Grand Operation presents a powerful narrative experience inspired by historical events. Shortly after launch, you will be able to take part in the first Grand Operation.

Operations from BF1 (now re-named Breakthrough) will be available at launch.

They should remove K/D from the scoreboard in BF. People would actually play the objective then. It's utterly meaningless to have because lots of classes aren't focused on kills, and why compare K/D between for example a medic vs a guy who's been in a tank all game.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

It would also stop my stats looking so embarrassingly gooseberry fool :shifty: .

My K/D ratio is always terrible as a medic :slol: .

I realise it's a different kind of game, but Overwatch has done away with it, instead you get "gold medals" showing you having a good score per minute. I believe mid game you can only see your own, and afterwards the game calls out specific people as having done a good job.

Far better than having K/D visible causing people to disregard objectives and focus on individual achievement in a team game.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

Just so many, many times I go for the heroic team revive and end up being completely destroyed as the person I'm hoping to revive decides to respawn with me just inches away with a syringe ready to go :fp: .

strawberry floating thanks for that mate now I'm strawberry floating strawberry floated  .

A day in the life of a Battlefield combat medic but at least I'm not playing as an engineer with the hammer tool out running after tanks who keep driving away as you fix them as that really, really causes me to rage. Stop strawberry floating moving you fat strawberry floating tanky banana split!

Maybe I should stop playing Battlefield :shifty: .

I got a temporary messaging ban after the driver of a train wouldn’t move it and we only needed a conquest point to be back on terms. Rage inducing

It's like some people go out of their way to be twats :slol: .

Playing as a medic? The teams just decides that sprinting about with 3hp is worth a try and never stopping to get healed as well as failing to wait for revive's.
Playing as a Support? Just constantly spam the "Need ammo" request when the entire team is at all 4 corners of the map because playing as a team is for chumps :fp: .

I really hope team play and not being a total banana split is a thing in BF5.

Last Battlefield game I played was 3 and I swear I was the only medic that actually ever healed people. Winckle's right, there is no place for a K/D ratio in these games and it's baffling they still put it in there when other massive games have already done away with it.

Battlefield 1 looks amazing so I'm expecting this to be another treat for the eyes.
It'll be interesting to see the differences between the Pro and One X when Digital Foundry do a breakdown of both.
I'll be playing this multiplayer on Pro but the single player on One X.

I've heard pre-order numbers are very low for this. Much lower than normal for a BF game.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:
