I just love playing as a medic reviving people and handing out medkits like sweets  .

I could need a guy like you but think you where on PS4 last time ‘round.

I'm buying this on PS4 but I can rent it from Boomerang on Xbox.

Every battle is unique. Every mode its own challenge. Battlefield V multiplayer provides unmatched intensity and scale in a sandbox of all-out war. Take on classic modes like Conquest or experiences like Grand Operations, where you'll participate in vast historical battles across multiple maps – and modes – and relive moments of bravery and desperation while fighting your way to the final objective.

Also announced is a Battle Royale mode with news coming later this year. Single player footage will be present tomorrow in Microsoft conference.

That actually looks good.

If someone's going to finally pull of a polished battle royale game it's Dice.

I find with Battlefield, after a couple of months the CoD crowd move on and BF gets to be more teamwork based.

I've never a team work based experience with Battlefield other than the occasional heal or ammo drop to be honest but that's to be expected with randoms and no mics. What I mean is that I hope there are more systems that actively encourage teamwork for people who don't have a squad of mates.

The launch trailer was trash of the highest order but seeing these gameplay clips are getting me excited. It’s starting to feel like Battlefield of old

It amazes me when you see people not working as a team in Battlefield games as the purely selfish score gain is huge. I played a game yesterday as squad commander and the team stuck together and all I did was make whatever objective they seemed to be heading towards the team objective and we easily became the best scoring team that game. it didn't require mics, just casually looking at the map and issuing orders which is as easy as saying thanks when being revived.

Worst thing about Battlefield 4 and 1 is entire squads of snipers who contribute virtually nothing to conquest. I've never EVER won a game of Conquest when we've had a team of snipers with us, they never move to any point because they don't give a f***.

That has to be the least enjoyable way to play these games.
I know my headless chicken hunt for people to heal and revive may not be the most tactical or indeed most sane method of play but at least I try and capture objectives and see the map and have fun when I inevitably get killed by running round a corner and having a tank blast me in the face point blank :slol: .

Tank Drivers can be the same as well. Hopefully the limited ammo will force the snipers and tanks off their hill and get in the action rather than playing Next Gen Duck Hunt.

It does get annoying when a tank just sits there. I have no problem them providing a bit of support from afar, but at least move in after clearing an area.

I've not watched all the videos yet, but I'm intrigued about the fortifications. However, from the bit of the video I saw it looked like they were predetermined areas to build up. I imagine it could either be very good and utilized well, or end up a rarely used gimmick. Especially if everyone knows where they will be.

Sniping is perfect fine if you're actually playing the objective.

I saw a bit of the Giant Bomb live feed last night and hearing Jeff talk about this has me very interested. I also find Battlefield movement to feel a little bit clunky and he said it feels great in this and the 'six ways' stuff really works. Grand Operations looks really good too.
