Despite my reaction to the demo...I'm still contemplating buying this game. I don't know what's wrong with me, I don't disagree with anything I said before.

Looking forward to this, really enjoyed the demo. Forgot how much fun the Uncharted games are.

UC3 has better gameplay (the melee is vastly expanded on and fun, climbing/traversal and combat are much more integrated) and better individual set pieces (the sinking boat like damn, that burning villa, and the horse/car chase is incredible) - U2 just has it beat as an overall package that is a lot more cohesive and flowing.

If you're coming up against bullet sponges it's probably because you're using the wrong gun. There are plenty of snipers and those super strong pistols scattered around that you can deal with almost all of the heavy enemies in a couple of hits. Just don't waste that ammunition on regular enemies.

I started this last night, but only played it for 15 minutes on the first game.

The character models look a bit weird. Perhaps a bit plastic-like? Animation is a bit weird in places, but my guess is it's because it's the first game which was out in 2007.

But so far, Bluepoint has done a good job with the graphics overall.

This has been shipped hope to get it tomorrow ready for SKSP on Friday :)

Does the game have any day one patches etc ? Just so I can update prior to going live.

Yeah, there's a day one patch just over 1gb, which just add new trophies marked as DLC trophies and other things like continuous speed run (where you play the entire game in one sitting) and the Brutal difficulty.

<3

It seems that Uncharted 1's difficulty is still the same, thanks to the ability of the enemies able to hit you even when you're in cover is still present. Crushing/Brutal difficulty should be a lot of fun(!)

I want to get this and brutal everything as I did for the PS3 versions. However imagine all those wasted hours... It is worth it?

Boomerang dispatched. Win.

I played through them back to back when I first picked up a PS3 a few years back. Great fun. I only intend to replay UC2, great game.

My copy came this morning. Drake's Fortune is still my favourite. It's a lot more grounded than the sequels and the more cartoony animation gives it a kind of quaintness that's particularly disarming. El goddamn Dorado.

Best thing about Drake's Fortune is Eddy Raja

Do you often contemplate the complexity of life?

Brutal isn't available until you finish the game on crushing difficulty...

I only picked up the remasters is because I like the series.

Alright, Drake's Fortune finished. All in all, it was actually pretty buggy. I mean, on a visual and performance level, it's a fantastic port, it just needed a little more time in the QA oven.

I'm ready for the bombast of the sequels now, though.

:o . jiggles, I don't know how you complete so many games so quickly. Do you find any games difficult? Our gaming skills must be at polar opposite!

Well, the game's not that long, and I've been through it loads of times already. I started on Crushing and it was way too unforgiving so I bumped it down to Normal from chapter 4 onwards.

4 hours 50 minutes was on the game clock when I finished. It would have been probably under 4 hours if I wasn't looking for collectibles and I hadn't decided to start on Crushing.

I don't understand how people on here have so much time to play games. I don't even have time to play all the games I've never played before, but people on here have so much time they are able to play everything, even ports of games they've played before!

Yes?
