Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass service now has 34 million subscribers. That's up 36 percent from the 25 million Microsoft previously reported more than two years ago.

Could the current Switch run any of these game? If the rumours of Sea of Thieves coming to Nintendo are true then it'll have to wait until the Switch successor is actually announced

I don't think it's completely out of the question for current Switch to run Sea of Thieves, it will need compromises for sure but I don't think it's impossible

I bet Pentiment is Switch bound very soon

I just want Rare Replay on Switch…..

After checking Pentiment on Youtube the Switch could definitely run that game. Think it would struggle with HiFi Rush though

I think all the other 3 it would struggle with tbh, they’d be best saved for Switch 2.

I've not played it extensively but I really can't think of anything it does that would be impossible on Switch.

Scope and scale are matched by other things on the system. It's not a graphical or technical showcase, aside maybe from the water effects?

Runs with cut backs on Xbox One at 30fps and switch is less powerful than that..

I just started watching the podcast and stopped as soon as they said they're not naming the four games; it just seemed odd to announce a big change and then not say what the games are. I caught up on news reports instead and, well, it feels like there wasn't much clarity, really. A new powerful console will release next gen? Okay. And some new hardware - or was it an announcement of hardware? - in Q4? Okay.

Yeah, the rumours and the hype definitely went way beyond the facts. Oh well. Of the alleged new games, I might look at Sea of Thieves.

That felt like purposefully trying to kill rumours. I guess it worked but I still think the future is 3rd party for them (Xbox hardware or not).
