Sausages cos they're great whether burnt to a crisp on a BBQ or lightly fried. Whereas bacon only tastes good if its crispy. Very crispy. Snappable in other words

Sausage, it's just a way more diverse category of food, includes everything from hot dogs to bangers and mash to those tins of beans with sausages in them.

I've never understood the internets love of bacon.

I'd rate the two almost on par really.

A well made sausage is a thing of beauty. I'd take bacon over poor quality sausages though.

There isn’t a right or wrong answer to this question.

The sandwich shop nearest my work makes an amazing sausage sandwich in the mornings. Far superior to any bacon sandwich I have ever had.

But if one of them had to disappear? A life without sausage or a life without bacon?

I chose to save bacon, but you are an evil man for making me pick just one of them.

Sausages. They’re more substantial, have a wider variety and are more diverse. They also taste better.

Though I do enjoy a bit of streaky bacon if it's cooked enough to go all crispy.

Elsewhere sausages.

Yep, this is the correct answer.

Is this because the bacon is gooseberry fool elsewhere?

If this is some kind of sausage superiority thing I'd like to introduce you to the Newmarket sausage. I'd pick them over anything.

The strawberry float is wrong you.

Bacon.

Streaky. Crispy.

Yeah bacon elsewhere is dire. Never tried it in Copenhagen.

Sausage, because it's more likely to be cooked properly.

I like my Bacon to be crispy or reasonably well done. I don't want to be pulling chewy fat with my teeth or practically eating something that tastes and looks more like gammon.

The strawberry floats wrong with all the overly crispy lovers.
I don't mind it, but I'd much rather soft meat with crispy fat.

So much this.

Crispy bacon is just wasted bacon.

I've got a soft spot for crispy American bacon but I know what you mean.

What a banger of a question. I think it needs to go to twitter for the definitive answer. Errkal?
