Eurogamer are claiming it's been canned.

That was pretty much the only game I'm interested in on the bone.

A project looking for a backer type thing, would be my guess. Good on MS for taking a punt on it. I hope Platinum get to make it one day. Y'know, if it's the game they really want to make above all others.

Microsoft said that they have great respect for Platinum Games and that Scalebound's cancellation came down to "business decisions."

I kinda hoped Platinum would get a break soon, truly a company with some terrible fortunes.

Jaysus, slight glint on horizon is mention of crackdown 3, I thought that was on course to be vapour ware, maybe both were looking in trouble and they jettisoned the unknown entity.

Be interesting to see if anything happens with this going forward.

Wonder if it might be something another big publisher could step in to and fund to completion. Have to wonder who actually owns the work done on it to date though.

Twitter saying Kamiya has taken time off work due to stress.

To be fair it did look a bit naff.

I liked look of it, or at least the premise, always ran pretty ropey though, the engine was apparently giving platinum major headaches.
