I got a redneck sorta vibe off those teaser trailers if that's the box art looks like I wasn't too far off the mark.

Is the photoshop look supposed to be intentional?

Jupiter is in your sun sign this week, making it pretty crowded in there, what with Jupiter being the largest of the planets and all.

So it's going to be Far Cry - Red State? I've a feeling it won't be anywhere near as interesting story-wise as it could be (it would need to go really dark though which wouldn't be mainstream).

That looks like a Messerschmitt in that photo. So why the strawberry float would some rednecks have a WW2 fighter? Maybe its some kind of alternate timeline story or something? Nazis won and now america is a fascist state? (ooh topical). All i know is, i couldnt give a gooseberry fool and i wont be buying it anyway. These games are all just copy and pastes of the previous entry only with a different location.

Im gonna go out on a massive limb here and use my crystal ball to divine that there will be Ubisoft towers... hnnnnggg and crafting.. im getting more visions... hnNnnG im seeing COLLECTIBLES.. and and.. a SKILL TREE!!.

I hate to bring it up again, but Watch Dogs 2 showed Ubi have it in 'em to make an interesting and entertaining open world game without the need to rely on the usual Ubi trademarks. But then WD2 was the last Ubi game I played, I have no idea how subsequent open world Ubi games played.

Looks more like a Mustang. Which might tie into the Commemorative Air Force: an actual, real life bunch of rednecks with a mummy strawberry floating fleet of WWII aircraft:

Fun fact, until fairly recently they were called the Confederate Air Force.

It's the first Far Cry game set in America.
It's also playable on PS4 Pro and Project Scorpio.
You can play the entire story solo or in two-player co-op.
You play as the new junior deputy of fictional Hope County, Montana, players will find that their arrival accelerates a years-long silent coup by a fanatical doomsday cult, the Project at Eden's Gate. Protagonist is customisible meaning you can choose gender and skin color

You can fly planes and take part in aerial dogfights.
Vehicles include American muscle cars, ATVs, boats, and big rigs.
Weapons include guns, grenades, sledgehammers, and baseball bats.
You can recruit other people to fight for you.
You can also recruit animals like bears and cougars.
There is a map editor that will have "new features that add a new dimension to the content created by fans".
PS4 players are getting a free Far Cry 5 skin pack at launch.
Ubisoft Montreal is leading development, with support from Ubisoft Toronto, Ubisoft Kiev, Ubisoft Shanghai, and Ubisoft Reflections.

Knowing ubisoft's history, they'll be on ultra high-spec dev kit PCs and the real game won't look as good.

Oh come on! Let us play as Jerome Jeffries! Actually, let us play as any one of those NPCs.

I really like the idea of this, its a cool setting and depending what way they go with it, it could be a pretty great story too. Theyll probably strawberry float it up though and make it just like the others.

You'd be a nutter to think otherwise. Of course the finished product won't look like that. Classic Ubisoft.
