The DLC is well worth a look as well. Two decent sized mini-campaigns with entirely new maps, weapons and some gameplay twists and a decent zombie wave mode.

Just starting to get my teeth into this onSeries X through Game Pass. Looks huge and it’s a well modelled world.

I’m getting the X=Take/Loot issues too but it’s a minor gripe really as take 2 secs to swap back.

I know I won’t finish it as it’s too big vs not much time vs other stuff will call me, but for now it looks a fun way to waste a few hours

I finished this recently. Did it in about 20 hours give or take.

The interruptions in this game are pretty annoying. Planes just hound you. The story is sometimes really intrusive.

I preferred the gameplay in the sequel. Smaller world and a tighter experience all round.

Overall, a 7/10. I enjoyed it mostly. Special mention to the music in this game as well. The map screen themes are just

This was the worst part of it for me.
Not so much the planes, which never really annoyed me too much, but certainly the forced abductions once you've progressed far enough in each area.

All in though it does more than enough to keep me happy. Far Cry certainly has a formula, but for now I still enjoy that formula.

Really need to get back to FC6 actually. Barely scratched the surface of that.

Far Cry 5 Gets 60 FPS Patch For Xbox Series X|S, PS5

Today, Far Cry 5 is getting a 60 FPS patch on Xbox Series X|S and PS5 as part of its fifth anniversary celebrations. Take down Joseph Seed and his Heralds at twice the framerate as you explore the different regions in Hope County and liberate its citizens. The 60 FPS patch applies to all of Far Cry 5’s game modes, as well as its three DLCs, Hours of Darkness, Lost on Mars, and Dead Living Zombies, making now the perfect time to dive into the backstories of Wendell Redler, Nick Rye, and Guy Marvel, respectively.

In addition to a smoother visual experience, Xbox Series X|S players will receive enhanced resolution for Far Cry 5. Xbox Series X will be able to run the game with a 3840x2160 and 4K resolution, while Xbox Series S will run it at a 1920x1080. PS5 players will still be able to take out the Seed family at 2880x1620 resolution.

Far Cry 5 is playable in solo or in co-op with a friend. If your squadmate doesn’t yet own the game, they can give it a test run during the Far Cry 5 free weekend running from March 23-27, which will also run on 60 FPS for current-gen consoles, or take advantage of the 85% discount at the Ubisoft Store from now until April 4. For more on Far Cry 5, stay tuned to Ubisoft News.

I still think the ending of this is a pile of shite.
The game itself was great but to end like that just ruined it for me.
