The X Scorch, which is cross-compatible with PC, combines a custom mouse with a wireless Nunchuk-esque controller that features a D-pad, an analog stick and some trigger buttons. According to Bannco, the device is upgradeable via firmware updates and has "digital sniper buttons," which certainly sounds impressive. The X Scorch retails for $79.99.

Looks Nice.

This is a rip off of the Fragnstein for the PS3(or maybe it's from the same company, I dunno.)

The Fragnstein is supposed to be pretty awesome, apparently.

[Edit] They are indeed both from the same company. Both are exactly the same apart from the buttons and colour.

That looks like it's massively more accurate for Halo..

Surely this is cheating?

Expensive cheating.

Wouldn't mind giving Halo Wars a go with one of these :shifty:

*edit* just realised HW wouldn't work unless you could map the mouse to the left stick, I don't think HW has a southpaw scheme.

What the hell kind of price is that? I'd rather have them let me use my #10 mouse and keyboard instead of paying $80 dollars.

I think my brain would melt trying to use one of those, being a console gamer all my life.

Are you taking the mickey? If Nintendo produced something like that you'd be pissing yourself with laughter.

It doesn't look sensitive enough, either that or the guy playing with it isn't very good.

Also what I thought. Although half of it is a strange, NES looking version of the Wii nunchuck.

Agreed.

If you could slap the sensitivity or turn speed way up then it could be rather useful for people who want to play an FPS properly. All that video did was make the mouse look a bit sluggish, although that could be due to the game it's being demoed on.

It's possible the ingame sensitivity is still at default levels.

Admittedly I'd be much much better at FPS games on the 360 with this but I'd rather have a control pad than a mouse in my hand when I'm sat on the couch. I also like to have super high sensitivity and I'm pretty sure most 360 games wouldn't accomodate that and end up feeling laggy.

Sorry, if you're going to make a shitty mouse, why not atleast make a keyboard for it aswell, Holding a nunchuck and using a mouse at the same time will be awkward as hell.

This would've been great a few years ago.

Since then I've really gotten used to using a normal controller for FPS and overuse of mice in my last job has given me RSI :(

Eh? How's this supposed to work? The games aren't set up for mouse input, all you'll be doing is mapping stick controls to a mouse, which is horrible.
