Was Scotticus the guy who was working and had a massive seizure?

Terrible news. We had our disagreements but beneath it all he was a genuinely nice guy. I'll always remember spending a night with him at Luton airport playing card games.

Read this earlier on and it's heartbreaking. I don't know if I ever interacted with him at all, but at the same time he's one of us so it hits hard.

I think back in the day me and Scotty shared the Poopgang Big Brother House. He seemed a nice guy from my few interactions with him. I'm just sad that we have reached the point in GR's life cycle when people may pass away. Horrible news. My thoughts are with his family.

Makes you think there's probably other forumites that might have passed away, especially due to how many members have moved on over the years. Thankfully Scotty had a lot of contact with people outside the forum so we were able to find out.

I was thinking this. I’m not friends with anyone on here so no one would have a clue if I just vanished. I wonder that about all the others. I know Degoose for example posts on the spurscommunity forum still. He just suddenly stopped posting on here a year or so ago after years of being on here everyday.

Like others I didn't really interact much with him, but he was a well known name around here. It's sad to hear of his passing.

I don't think I ever spoke to him, but it was one of those names you always recognise. All the best to family, friends and those on here that were close.

Yeah I didn't really cross paths with him much but he's definitely a name (and avatar) I remembered. I know the Poop Gang lot were especially close and did quite a few real-life meet ups so condolences to anyone here who has lost an actual friend rather than just an avatar. Regardless of long all of us have been swimming around the Internet, 30 is much too young to pass away.

I haven't caught up Scotty as much as I used to, mainly due to my online presence dropping than anything else, but this still comes as a shock. I only met him the once, at a PG meet, where I found him as easy to get on with as his online self. Sad news.

I went looking through some of the old Poopgang meet up photos last night. I'll have to dig out my old external hard drive and find the rest.

Scotty was a pretty significant part of my online life for my late teens and early 20s. We started uni at the same time, and I spent a lot of time talking with him on MSN, even outside of the massive group chats. I think most of my uni flatmates were all at least aware of him. Then we just seemed to lose touch. I was thinking about him just the other day, and how I'd not spoken to him for a while.

I don't really know what to feel. I don't think it's quite sunk in.

Scotty was a well known name to any of us who have been around for a while, and death at such a young age is a terrible shock. My condolences to his family.
