Scotticus Erroticus has passed away.

This is really sad news.. Does anyone know the circumstances? I only ask because I lost a friend to suicide last year and I hope it isn't that because it's the first thing I think of now with it being a big killer and I dread to think how many are effected that have touched our community and I can honestly not remember how many people have suffered. If anyone has, we have normally known about it, whatever it is. And when something like this happens we try to fill in the blanks. We can only be grateful we knew as much as we did about a person and appreciate their small part in our lives. I also lost a friend to diabetes. Was it epilepsy? That can be very sudden too.

Just saw this on FB. Always kept in sporadic contact after PG and spoke to him a couple of months back on messenger and he seemed in good spirits. Scotty was a genuinely nice bloke. Really tragic news. Thoughts with his family.

30 is no age to pass on. Hopefully he got to have some good times.

That's horrible, RIP.

Utter waste for someone to go that young. I can't say I really knew him at all but I feel some kind of solidarity for what it's worth.

Just realised my missus is going to be gutted.

She used to get on quite well with Scotty and he'd reach out and chat to her when he was struggling and that.

I'm numb as well. When we haven't interacted much since stuff happened, but he was nice bloke, if eager at times.

i remember reading his posts and about his leg when i just joined before the forum switch back in the day. terrible news.

That's terrible, no age at all. I didn't know him and can only ever recall interacting with him in football threads, but his name is just part of the fabric of this place.

Got on really well with Scott back in the day on MSN and PG. It's a shame he fell out with the number of people he did (don't remember why) but I'll always remember the good times we had at the PG meets and crazy MSN multichats.
