Me and Scott used to drive people mad with the Troon game. We'd go back and forth spamming obscure Scottish placenames.

That sort of back and forth for half an hour until we drove everyone to leave the chat window. I regret we didn't end our friendship on the best terms but oh those times were hilarious.

Although as a newer member i didn't know the guy, i'd like to take a moment to offer my condolences.

Back on SONM we lost one of our own members (a chap called Gamerkade) in a similar fashion and it was just awful.

I'd definitely be up for a meet. Let's get this gooseberry fool organised.

His sister has posted on FB stating that although they are unaware of the full details they believe it was sudden and painless. I was able to take some solace in this so thought it might be useful to post in here.

That is good to hear at least, I'm still numb about it but at least I can rest easily that he didn't suffer too much.

Also echoing others on MSN days, it was pretty much great times even if it can be havoc at times. I do use Discord but with different group of friends, and it's not same.

Terrible news. Echoing the sentiments of others here, PG and the whole community really was peak internet for me. Such a close knit group of people - I definitely definitely had my fair share of arguments with Scott, but looking back on it we were both 16-18, and without him it would have been a different place. RIP.

Mind you saying that when Craig inevitably pops his clogs aged 33 from gummed up arteries due to Scottish food I shall quite happily dance on his grave.

Really saddened by this

he messaged me about 5 years ago following a ‘message a random forumite’ thread and we chatted on and off for a year or so. Seemed like a really decent guy who was genuinely interested in how some random guy he’d never met or spoken to was.
