I see that makes more sense. I want to avoid some aspects of Tory policy too.

It is when you accuse 60 million people of being responsible for 900 years of atrocities.

I never accused anyone, I stated historical fact.

What's it like, knowing someone else fought for your freedom and having done nothing to repay them?

What's it like, knowing someone else murdered, raped, enslaved and participated in genocide in the name of your country?

Liverpool is home to England’s highest percentage of Irish Immigrants.

Liverpool traditionally is known as having the strongest Irish heritage of any British city, with the possible exception of Glasgow. The Irish have played a major role in Liverpool's population and social fabric for a good part of the city's eight-hundred year history. A lot of Liverpudlians have some Irish ancestry, their Irish ancestors are most likely to have come to Liverpool in the 19th century. The Irish influence is heard in the local Liverpool dialect, often called Scouse, and seen in the faces and names of the populace. At least three of Liverpool's most famous citizens, The Beatles, had some Irish ancestry. George Harrison was of maternal Irish-Catholic derivation. Bandmate Sir Paul McCartney had one Irish grandfather and an Irish great-grandfather. John Lennon's father's family were the descendents of Irish migrants who came to Liverpool in the 19th century

On holiday at the moment so just woke up to the result. I 'm glad Scotland has remained in the UK, it's where I grew up and a place dear to my heart.

Hopefully this will be the end of the smug twat Salmond, whatever good reasons there were behind the idea of Scottish independence he new full well he could stir up the anti English brigade to get the momentum going.

I think good will come of this, Westminster has had a scare and seen that the status quo can be disrupted. With any luck this will give the whole of the UK a kick up the backside with regards to voting.

If you were born in the British Isles you are British. Deal with it.

All this outcry about how the English used to mistreat you and bla bla bla. Yet when it comes to reality you guys were scared to stand on your own feet.

No spine at all.

Back to the election, social media morons are helping the 'fix/recount' calls gather pace.

Despite the no/yes map looking like this.

I don't think being scared had anything to do with it. It just makes more sense for all parties.that the UK remain together.
Scotland shouldn't leave the UK anymore than the UK should leave the EU.

The brave heart movie was done for nothing. That speech was absolutely for nothing. William Wallace has faded into nothing now, all his hard fought battles were for nothing.

FOR OUR FREEDOM!....nah bitch you scared to be free .
