Came back to my sloop to find it being pummeled by a Galleon. Luckily spied a gunpowder barrel nearby so swum it up their ship and then blew it up. My sloop ended up sinking as well but I left the game happy.

Amazing the amount of interest in this game.

Mythical would be Ultra, Legendary being high etc.

It doesn't. Microsoft Store doesn't bother updating the game but lets you launch it anyway and go through the whole process of picking your solo/party game type and ship type before thinking to tell you that your game type doesn't match, at which point it makes you uninstall the game entirely because telling the store to manually update your apps doesn't do anything and just hangs until you close the store window at which point it gives up, so you try to download it again, perpetually hang on Starting Download until you restart your computer and re-download the entire game all over again from scratch.

I was having a go at the Microsoft Store.
The Windows 10 Xbox app has an option for parties and shows you friends who are playing on an Xbox rather than on Windows, so I assume the Xbox party functionality is cross platform.

Joins Galleon crew of 4, spends the next 30 minutes dancing away in the brig for dropping the anchor at the island we were heading too..

It's funny cause they keep popping down to check if I'm still there :slol:

It is indeed. I was able to join my sister Xbox-Windows 10, so the platform is basically the same across both.

! I haven't slated the game. It's seems you regard any person who makes any kind of criticism of Microsoft as the enemy. I love the pirating theme of Sea of Thieves. I'm looking forward to playing it later this year, by the time I do Rare will hopefully have released some playable content for it...

Met THE KRAKEN, problem was, 2 of my mates were pished drunk as we decided it was our last haul.

Cue panic and puking all over the place, I was laughing my ass off. We fought it with cannons. Sliced it when it grabbed ship and slowly got away.

I wish my internet connection were good enough to handle the missus playing on the X1 and me on Windows in the same house.

Thanks to the PC Xbox app I think we can. We could say next Thursday maybe? If people are interested let me know in here and we'll sort something out! If we have more than 4 people we'll have to try and figure out how to do fleets but I'm sure we wouldn't be the first.

I think if we have a countdown to join a game we have a chance of being in the same server, I've seen people do it in PUBG.

I'll be good to play Thursday.
