A friend's brother, James Thomas, is a programmer at Rare and has been for quite a few years. Haven't spoken to James myself, (admittedly I don't know him as well as his brother, Matt, and have only met him a few times at Halo Lan games), but a few friends who regularly game with him online says how much James has enjoyed himself working on SoT. Not saying this Bedall chap is lying, but his thoughts are at odds with James's. Guess everyone's experience is different in such an environment.
He's not disgruntled as such reading it he just thinks the game lacked direction and content.
He's a contractor who's contract wasn't renewed, this is life and that's what clients do, the thing I find funny is he claims Rare pay a "minimum" for artists while Microsoft has tonnes of money but, going through an agency, if he wanted more money he should have asked for it, so in a big way it's his own damn fault. I don't understand why make a contesting point of that after 5 renewals without presumably being bothered about money until after the fact.
Artists with zero self esteem again.
