you'll get new games at the rate of one every two weeks

To be this good takes AGES.

To release the decent games takes SEGA FOREVER.

I hope it's a £750 hyper console.
They can have the same spec as the Xbox X just with another £300 spent on a monster CPU and better cooling.

And all it will play is 4K versions of Megadrive games. :datass:

On a touch screen :datass:

In an abandoned arcade in Rhyl :datass:

On Tuesdays only.

I might get a few of the Phantasy Star Mega drive games and maybe any other RPG type stuff that comes along since touch screen controls won't be too bad for those, but I just can't enjoy Sonic games controlling with a touch screen.

Oh god. What if this is the only way they re-release Shenmue 1 and 2?

All games free with ads or £1.99 with no ads?

That’s not a bad deal to be fair to Sega.

I am not interested in mobile games, although I hope this is reasonably successful and they release their entire back catalogue on console/PC for a similar price.

Install an android emulator like Bluestacks and play the games from this ON your pc. What a strange future where DC/Saturn emulation is easier through android emulation than something like Demul.

Yeah, I think I have 2 android emulators on my PC. May try it on that. Though hopefully the service comes to PC and/or a Switch.

I tried bluestacks and after a couple of days it kept installing new apps that I didn't want without my permission. Uninstalled it pretty quickly after that.

Is there a better android emulator?

So are there any details on actual release dates for anything yet?
I'd probably grab Phantasy Star II from the launch line-up.

How come Sega is able to release the games for free / £2 each on mobile but charge around £6+ on console Stores? I guess they're hoping that potentially there is a much bigger market on mobile so they'll try and draw people in? And that they're just looking to rip off the smaller group of core gamers on console formats?

I guess I answered that :) .

You could try actually running Android in a virtual machine like Parallels.

And what gets me, we're probably getting Saturn games officially from Sega only for them to be put on mobile.

Wish they would remake Skies of Arcadia and release it on consoles. :-( It would be gooseberry fool on mobile.
