Seems a bit stupid to announce the announcement of something so minor, oh well, Sega gonna Sega I guess.

Pretty Sure Puyo Puyo 2/Tsu has never had a western release (if you exclude the neo geo pocket version). So there's at least one new game there.

So I'm either a super powerful wizard with the ability to shape the future or this announcement was obvious from the start. Only one way to find out.

Benteke will score a hat trick for Liverpool tomorrow.

And now we play the waiting game.
Jazzed, I'm very disappointed in you for giving them money for bad games like Altered Beast and Ecco. The only way they'll stop rereleasing that trash is if people stop buying it. Stop being part of the problem.

At least your first guess was possible.

Shuuuuuun the non-believer, shuuuuuuuuun

I grabbed them when they were on sale :P And I honestly think Altered Beast is a silly fun action game while Ecco is fascinating, if not deeply flawed, in lots of ways. Bring on 20 gazillion more re-releases of these games, mwahahahahaaaaaaa

I can see this as their last chance to squeeze some money in this way on a Nintendo platform.

I expect/hope NX to work similar to IOS as a platform, so I buy Outrun 3D on one console and I own it on all my Nintendo consoles forever. SEGA are probably aware of this, so they're rushing out this pack before we find out.

There are two versions of Altered Beast I would like to own. The Megadrive version, and the original arcade board. And I've got the Megadrive version.

Around £150 from the USA, Turnip.

I don't know if this is expensive or a decent deal. Posting from the States really bumps the price up.

£0.15 is dear for Altered Beast.

Ecco may have some curiosity value due to being a uniquely weird sort of game (seriously, go read the plot summary) but Altered Beast is just shite.

You don't know shite unless you've tried to play it's ZX Spectrum conversion.

Oh, wait, that's the GOOD 128k version that retains the music. Stick it on mute for the 48k experience. Granted you lose the sound effects too, but some would argue that's no bad thing.

A SIMPLE game isn't the same thing as a bad one.

I find it very weird that they keep converting the bloody Megadrive versions of everything.

Sega Europe is running an E3 stream tomorrow, Wednesday 15 June, at 11am Pacific / 2pm Eastern / 7pm UK / 8pm CET. Get this:

...and we'll be unveiling news for EU fans of Sonic The Hedgehog!...

This definitely won't be a new mobile title or, say, an announcement of a Knuckles plushie. It's guaranteed to be a brand new, top-tier console adventure* :toot: .

*No, it will be something incredibly dull.

There was a leak about a Sonic Humble Bundle recently. I wonder if this will tie into it.

I'd like a decent Olympics game! Where have they gone?!
