Currently Pre-Ordering - Sep/Oct/Nov - Too Many Games?

Star Wars and FIFA are the only games at the minute I believe. I have to catch up on another few Platinum games though.

PS3
Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 (depending on reviews, I may grab FIFA instead)
LittleBigPlanet (possibly, I may not get it)
Resistance 2 (again depending on reviews and whether I actually go back and finish the first game)

DS
Final Fantasy IV
Dragon Quest IV
Phoenix Wright 3

PS2
Persona 3 FES (possibly)

That's basically my lot for the year, I may pick up stuff like the new Tomb Raider when they get cheaper (although I said that last year with Uncharted and the Orange Box and I've yet to buy them).

Even more than last year! Of course Alan Wake will be moved back to 2009 and I've also got Street Fighter 4, Resi 5 and Halo Wars at the bottom of the list but I missed them off because they're next year. That doesn't even take into account Rock Band 2 and the GH4 and guitar I want.

How can you all pre-order so many games? I've got nothing pre-ordered.

Personally I'm trying to limit myself to at most, one game per month.

I tell a lie, I've just gone and pre-ordered Resident Evil 5 - the closest I've got to a 'sure thing' as far as games go, at least for now. Everything else, possibly even Gears 2, is in flux as far as I'm concerned, until the Metacritic and forumite verdicts come in, and because of that I feel I have to wait and see.

Samba De Amigo (Possible based on reviews really, might be fun party game + never played original)
Order Up! (Will have to buy this day 1 just really looks my type of simulation type game)
Rayman: Raving Rabbids - TV Party (Possible party game for xmas time, although depends on reviews)
De Blob (Might take a punt the pc version was good fun although £34.99 >.<)
Harvest Moon: Tree Of Tranquility (Depending on reviews but eventually yea)
Call Of Duty: World At War (If they pull off what they say they will then maybe just)
Animal Crossing: City Folk (might get hyped into it, i love HM so might like AC)
MySims Kingdom (Day one buy i loved the first will def get this)

PC:
Spore (Probably Pre order/day 1 purchase looks awesome)
WoW WotlK (Again Probably Pre order/day 1 purchase looks awesome)

If The PC games don't take as much time up as i think they will (might rule my life for a month or 2

) Then either a 360 or PS3 will be on the cards with an HD TV just gotta see what will be better for my Little big planet or Viva pinata the latter might be more down my alley, i'm not huge with creating levels i never do it in Boom blox

The two real biggies for me are LittleBigPlanet and Fable II. I'll definitely be getting Wii Music and Animal Crossing: City Folk, but there's not much more on Wii for 2008 that interests me unless you include Captain Rainbow (and that's officially August).

Other than that, I'm keen to see what Lips is like, I'm excited that I'll be playing Infinite Undiscovery next week, and FIFA and Gears 2 are almost dead-cert purchases. Mirror's Edge and PoP can wait for all-round raves before I take the plunge. Left 4 Dead? Sounds amazing, but I don't really have the time for online-multiplayer-focused games these days.

Mercs 2! Looking forward to that so much, thought the 1st was a bit of a disappointment, but this one looks excellent. Also, i want to get Star Wars Force Unleashed and Fable 2, definitely. Gears of War 2 as well, but that's a while off.

I wouldn't bother with Lego Batman though to be honest, doesn't look especially good.
