This is not the Life is Strange 2 thread.

"I worked as a script doctor on Life is Strange developed by the studio DONTNOD and I will participate on Life is Strange 2 later."

(Interview is in French) http://alchimy.info/alain-damasio-et-la ... -partie-1/

Possible spoilers regarding cast: Game will feature totally new cast of characters.

I kinda figured they'd go the American Horror Story route - new characters, powers, situations and locales each season. Hopefully they can carry on creating amazing stories with lovely characters!

I wonder how they will do a sequel to this when, apparently according to the current lore, changing time and fate has seriously bad consequences as nature goes haywire.

Different abilities with different effects, presumably?

Tempted to buy the original for a relative.

Can you get the entire first game/series boxed? Is "Before the Storm" what I'm looking for?

Before the Storm is a 3-episode prequel, but you can get the first main season boxed for sure, as shown above.

EDIT: Or it's on sale digitally at the moment for under £4 on the MS Store, and I believe you can buy games as digital gifts. Might be worth a look.

Those two brothers are the next door neighbours of the little boy in Captain Spirit, right?

I thought the older brother looked like an older version of Captain Spirit.

Nah. They stated with the release of Captain Spirit that he was a character in the universe of Life Is Strange but will only make a cameo appearance in Life Is Strange 2.

All finished over a week and a bit.

Didn't love it to be honest. I didn't really like the brothers as a pair (although Sean was pretty cool) and the lack of a central "hook" (e.g. the ongoing mystery of S1) and constantly rotating cast didn't really help build connections/engagement as a result. I mean I despised Chloe in S1, but you had other people/things to draw you in.

I wanted to smack Daniel a lot. He's such an ungrateful little shite. I might have found it different if I had a sibling or a child but for the first few episodes he felt irredeemably a berk. I have no idea why Sean would suffer so much for him (nor me, but I liked the Dad so...)...

Having said that I can see why it's made so any GOTY shortlist and mentions. It's politcally relevant and very very uncomfortable (but also uncomfortably accurate) throughout.

Still want to try and get this at some point, especially as it's currently £21.99 at Argos.
