The stupid, petty argument on the previous page will stop immediately -- no ifs or buts, no getting the last word. I'll be threadbanning anyone who continues it. People have died, for Christ's sake.

So what we know so far is there are two confirmed incidents one at London Bridge and another at borough market. Police have confirmed that there has been more than one fatality.

Reports are also that police are looking for three people.

Possible third incident in Vauxhall.

Awful news but it won't be the last time this happens. This even more cowardly new style of attack is so easy to do it will happen a lot more I'm sure.

banana splits the lot of them. Sadly religion will out live me and all this idiotic crap will continue in the name of children's bedtime stories.

I'm sure the conspiracy theorists will be out in force tomorrow saying the Tories planned this.

London Bridge and Borough Market are basically the same place so the incident just started on the bridge and continued on the other side.

Manchester Evening News wrote:Police have confirmed that there is an ongoing police incident at a Texaco garage off Cheetham Hill Road.

Images and video posted to social media appeared to show armed officers making an arrest earlier this evening.

Greater Manchester Police confirmed there was an ongoing incident but would not release any further details. The incident is taking place in the Green Quarter near to Jefferson Place flats.

The report was that three people got out of the van. There could be other groups too.

A security guard who oversees a number of pubs in the area has told the BBC he saw four people stabbed by three attackers.

The man, who was deeply shocked and asked not to be named, said he was at the Market Porter pub when a colleague at another bar said there was a stabbing at the Borough Bistro pub nearby.

He said he went towards this pub and saw that "everybody started running" and there was screaming.

The eyewitness added that he saw three attackers, one of whom had a long knife and stabbing people, including a girl in her early 20s.

Presenter on BBC News has just said they won't engaged in the speculation going on online (about who the suspects are.) Why not? Of course they shouldn't be racist or Islamophobic but considering the terrorist attacks recently, the Manchester bombing and Westminster Bridge attacks, then I think it understandable and necessary. Utterly ridiculous.

Also, twitter has footage of the arrest of a suspect.

I just left my girlfriend at Kings Cross to get the train home. She texted me saying no trains were running but now I can't get in touch with her. Bit concerned.

The BBC's policy is something like two corroborated reliable sources before they report it. They're just trying not to spread any misinformation in the rush to get news out.
