PostSetting up a small "throwaway" forum

So I'm running a StarCraft tournament over on another forum and I need a little bit of advice. The tournament is set up like a Fantasy style tournament, where the players, maps and even overlays for the stream mimic that of one of the old Proleagues of Korea and the idea I had was to keep the players identities anonymous. Now the problem I ran into last year was that put too much pressure on the captains to try and organise everything as the players had no direct contact with each other if they were on different teams.

What I plan to do is set up a quick and easy forum to allow people to sign up and organise thier games under their aliases. What's the best way/place to go about doing that? It doesn't have to be fancy, just simple and easy.

Why not ask the mods if you could have a special temporary folder here? Be a good way of getting new members.

Couldn't you make a subreddit on.. Well, Reddit?

Use it for as long as you want and it doesn't matter if you never return to it again?
Another benefit would be the disposable accounts, you don't even need to provide an email address.

That's a very good idea Lewis. Cheers!

What was the forum we used when we were both on the anti-village team? I assume that was easy to set up but can't remember where it was.

A forum here should work wouldn't it?

Might be something long term that could be good for the place to to allow the creation of ad-hoc fourms for tournaments and things.
