The much-rumoured sequel to Shadow of Mordor will once again let you conquer land and take down enemies using the original's acclaimed Nemesis system.

This time, however, you're looking to forge a new ring of power, similar to Sauron's.

Target's product listings have now been pulled, but not before they were pasted onto NeoGAF:

"Experience an epic open-world brought to life by the award-winning Nemesis System. Forge a new Ring of Power, conquer Fortresses in massive battles and dominate Mordor with your personal Orc army in Middle-earth: Shadow of War.
Go behind enemy lines to forge your army, conquer Fortresses and dominate Mordor from within. Experience how the award winning Nemesis System creates unique personal stories with every enemy and follower, and confront the full power of the Dark Lord Sauron and his Ringwraiths in this epic new story of Middle-earth."

Sounds good to us.

Shadow of War will also be available in a Gold Edition with access to four expansions: Slaughter Tribe Nemesis Expansion, Outlaw Tribe Nemesis Expansion, The Blade of Galadriel Story Expansion and The Desolation of Mordor Story Expansion.

Together with a "Gold War Chest", these packs represent "over $125 in total value".

The two Nemesis Expansions will each let you take on a new Orc Tribe, with new missions and gear. The two Story Expansions include a new campaign and playable character - interesting.

Warner Bros. has yet to respond to the leak - but it likely won't be long until the game is fully unveiled.

When the first game was announced I was very critical, however I really enjoyed it once I gave it the time of day. Given how cannibalistic the game industry is for jumping on certain bandwagons I was surprised the nemesis system wasn't ripped off for more open world games.

Yes! Loved this, the Nemesis system was a great feature so hopefully it'll be enhanced for the sequel.

My inner Tolkien purist is furious at the "you're looking to forge a new ring of power, similar to Sauron's" idea. :x :x :x

My inner gamer that enjoyed Mordor is happy.

This generation has not really been tickling my fancy, but a new Mordor game should be good fun. Like really enjoyed the Nemesis USP, but for the life of me had no idea who the Ork I faced off with at the end - he was all in my face and I was - "I am seeing lots of different bad guys".

Can't bring myself to play this because of the artistic license they've taken with the source material.

Could pretend its just another fantasy epic.

Thought the first was a bunch of excellent systems attached to a pretty good but not amazing game. Hopefully they can improve on that.

I finished the first game before any of the DLC was out and felt I'd had my fill - given how long my gaming backlog is by the time I get round to this the "complete" version will be about a tenner.

I expect this has been in production for a long time and they're only revealing relatively close to launch rather than an exhaustive multi-year hype train.

Hopefully, I did really enjoy the first one and it would be a shame if this was rushed.

First game was my GOTY when it came out. Bought it again when I got my ps4. Such an amazing game and such a brilliant feel to the world.

It's been developed for ages as about a year ago someone stated they were doing voice work for it.

Hopefully the world will have more random creatures, more strategy and a lot more random deaths as the game was very easy and that kinda kills the point of the nemesis system.

I'll get the super special digital version when it's out. As I loved the original dlc which really added to the game and introduced some new mechanics.

Wish my image sig would work
