Shenmue I & II (PS4, XBO, PC) - coming 21 Aug 2018 | "Kiss off, twit"

Despite these being quite rare, desirables collector's items nowadays, I actually own both on the DC and have never played them. Well, that's a lie, I have started the first game, but it would crash my DC at certain points.

Apparently this is not a disc/console error but was just that the game was too big and cause the DC to fail when loading? The problem is, it loads when you go in and out of Ryu's house, but you need to go inside to save. So quite a few times I started the game, and would never actually get to continue it.

I liked what I did play though. Having come to Japan and lived here since playing Shenmue, sometimes I get a strong sense of how much the game felt like living here, even though I only played the opening moments.

Going to have to pick up the remasters. I've always felt guilty about hording the 2 DC games, when someone would probably really appreciate them. Maybe it's time to set them free.*

Its not a game for todays generation and in a way reflects what the 1980s was all about.

I can’t believe that its been more time since shenmue 2 and now when compared the original release in 1999 and the date in the game of 1986!

Yeah, I don't think things like fashion and culture (tech aside) have changed since then, for me it feels like we're still living in the late 90s.

I saw a guy wearing this weird coat.

That's the pre-order page, there is a newer page where the game is priced at £24.99 and i can't get the bugger to work.

I just got a copy from Argos as I’ve cancelled my preorder from Amazon last night.

I bought it £24.99 from Argos so it’s result! :toot:

I must have ordered just in time or they only had one in stock because I just checked again and it’s now showing as being out of stock
