The patch v1.02 have been released on PS4 just now.

License issues with many of them. I have Afterburner Climax on my PS3 but you can't download it anymore due to the license with the aircraft manufacturer's expiring and Sega obviously weren't going to shell out to re-acquire it for a niche, digital title. Same with Outrun Online Arcade and the Ferrari license.

But yeah, lot's of current gen discs will just be coasters in the future. Street Fighter V has more downloadable content and updates than what comes on the disc for example!

Curious as to how this footage got out...I assume it was leaked by an employee? Can't imagine Sega wants this out there right now.

Amazing find in any case. I have to admit though I'm really not keen on the washed out lighting, it reminds me of X360 era games with too much bloom (ie Oblivion). Environments are nice otherwise though and the textures are certainly a big upgrade. Amusingly, the 'Placeholder' text circling the NPCs' heads gave me Sci-Fi vibes :p

Feel bad for d3t in any case, every extra detail we find out on this paints this as more and more of a nightmarish development cycle

I believe this is the rumoured PS3/360 version that was in development around 2010.

Wow. In many cases, I feel that these unreleased versions look superior to the recently released versions. I guess that Sega didn't wish to spend more money on developing them and so they went with more basic ports.

70 man battle. Get to the end no problem, tediously slow as only two people trickle in at a time. Last guy shows up and beats me out of nowhere, have to start from the beginning. strawberry float off.
