Wait, what was Moriatry end game here?

My take is that she was the one who set Moriarty off in the first place.

How that all syncs... I'm not so sure.

Tried watching this, got to the point where they retconned the entire story from the start, turned it off.

Rubbish.

There were far too many people in that episode who should have stayed dead and off the screen. I'm starting to think Sherlock should have been one of them.

I actually enjoyed a lot of the action at the time of watching. I then got to the end of the episode and realised I had absolutely no clue what had happened in terms of timelines, reasoning, and... well... plot...

Utter utter bollocks

(Long rant of issues - I might care too much)

So "I'll put a hole in his face" at the end of last means shoot with a tranq...right..

No hints why she strawberry floated with John

No hints why Toby Jones gave her the letter or she gave it to Sherlock

"When you're lost and without hope, there's 2 men who can help you" style - Have we ever seen this is the last 3 years?

So Sherlock blocked his memory - but his parents didn't keep pictures or ever mention it?

It's a high tech motion sensor bomb...with a 3 second delay...plenty of time to run away (and you can survive a fireball, sharpnel and falling from first floor unharmed,

Sherinwood randomly appears on the fishing forcast sometimes?

Sherlock subdued (several armed guards), stole their uniforms and then inflitrated the base

She can reprogramme everyone with a small chat...unless they're "clever" enough...complete bollocks...why didn't she do it to John?

The lack of glass bit was clever - but Sherlock didn't notice no reflections or the violin not distorted

Moriarty decides to record messages because...hmmm

Death Island of Crystal Maze - we might as well of had stroking a cat...

Where is this house that she can move him so easily/quickly? And what house has a grave yard?

Redbeard's a kid. That's why Sherlock repressed him. It hurt so much to lose the friend he hid it. But he wanted a dog so much he made that the reality...Seems to be mixing up what's important and replacing and important thing with another important thing.

Oh wow. The puzzle Sherlock hasn't solved for years is...something to do with the gravestones and a cipher...They didn't show all the gravestones before so the viewer couldn't work it out, and they barely show the solution to the IMPORTANT PUZZLE cus it's solved and that's all that matters - we can move on now...

The planes her mind...so why the Moriarity call at the start? Also stupid metaphor. She's not alone up on the plane, everyone else is asleep/unconscious but they're there. Doesn't work with the "I'm all alone" theme.

Oh wow. Where was the hiding place she put Redbeard/John that no one's been able to find for 30 years? Nevermind they got John out of it (must have been close to get there so quick), but we can move on now...

Where is this house that Greg turns up to have control of scene?

Did I miss a fall out scene with Molly?

Oh the voice over about the great heroes/adventures/defenders of the little people without anyone else - like the start where was that.

Terrible. Some great acting, but awful script that actively shyed away from the solutions to the few puzzles/mysteries it had (despite them being SO IMPORTANT!)

They did that a long, long time ago.

Hopefully that's the final episode, though I doubt it. Thirteen episodes overall, maybe two or three great ones? A lot of guff in there otherwise

What on earth did I just watch. What a confusing 90 minutes of TV.

I love Benedict and Martin but that story was wank.

The potential has always been there but this was the first series in which the self-referential smug complexity really started to get on my tits.

Good read.

Sherlock is a TV show based on the intricately plotted detective stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, where the brilliantly analytical Sherlock Holmes unravels mysteries with rigorous deductive reasoning.

Season four of Sherlock the TV show is about a man with magic powers and a collection of Things That He Does, who has a bunch of friends who all have one character trait each.

It does make some good points amidst the up it's own arse writing style. Particularly highlighting the scene between Sherlock and Phil Davis in A Study in Pink, I think that was my high point of all Sherlock.

I enjoyed it while I was watching, and thought they tied in the Moriarty stuff quite well, but afterwards I realised it made no sense.
