One of the most talent Japanese developers, Level-5 (White Knight Story, Dragon Quest IX : Protectors of the Starry Sky), has announced in the latest Famitsu magazine that a press conference named Level-5 Vision 2008 will take place in Japan on September 26. Level-5 wrote "A game revolution is beginning […] Wait for shocking announcements from Level-5!" as a slogan on the advertisement page. September 26 will be a very hot day for great announcements (7th Dragon (?), Kizuna, Arc Rise Fantasia, etc.).

I doubt Microsoft would be willing to give any money for a Level 5 exclusive considering the rumoured reasons behind the failure of True Fantasy Online.

Level 5 are just code-monkeys for the DQ games.

It certainly would be shocking, considering they've confirmed its Christmas Day release in Japan in the exact same issue of Famitsu.
