Awesome. Hope it does well (although I can't really see it).

What's the extra content in the PS4/Xbone versions? Worth picking up if I've already 100%ed the WiiU version?

I think Xbox One version has some battletoads shite in it.

EDIT: The battletoads stage is supposed to be aces, im highly tempted to purchase...

Just 1 new stage per platform I think.

Is it worth getting? I'm interested but dont want it to be punishingly hard, I've €20 credit sitting in Xbox Live account...

Theyve also added a battle mode apparently, which could be good fun.

If you've never played it before them it's without a doubt worth getting. My game of last year by far. It's not particularly difficult at all. A little challenging perhaps, by nothing like Mega Man and the like.

This is so good, took me a while to get used to the weight of jumps but it's fantastic, only 2 levels in.

I bought this when it launched on PS4. I love the 8 bit graphic style which is sincere and not just a stylistic imitation. The music is so good, lovely melodies. However I personally have found the difficulty to be bastard hard. I've completed about a couple of levels which were fine. Then one level I couldn't get past, so there is a hub map and tried the other and despite trying the same mini-boss (the giant fish) for almost two hours can't get past. I admit i'm not the most dextrous when it comes to games but is shouldn't be so punishing.

If anybody has it on PS4 and can help me with Share Play please let me know!

I'm stuck about half-way through, the ice level.
I've found that leaving the game for a few days/weeks and coming back somehow works in getting past tough bits - the problem is that completing it is going to take a very long time :( I beat Kratos and got his suit of armour though! Little victories, eh?

Okay Buff, I will give it another go! Maybe in this day and age where I have more than one game to play it has made me expect everything to be easy.

That was my problem, taking difficulty for granted. Probably why I can't touch a Souls game/Bloodborne with a barge pole.
If all else fails, get a mate who's better than you to clock it whilst you watch, that's what I do (hi, John!).

Regarding the disc version, I will probably get the Xbox One version of this. I wouldn't mind double dipping.

So we all agree that Plague of Shadows makes this game of the year 2015 as well? It's quite good, especially when you get accustomed to the new controls.

Are there any new areas along with the new character and controls?

The first town is completely different, and the second town is a little bit different. Aside from that (as far as I've gotten at least) it's mostly the same areas. There are secret areas within the levels that are completely new and tailored to Plague Knight's moveset, but aside from that the main changes are things being arranged a little bit differently to better suit the new playstyle, different block and enemy placement and that kind of stuff.
